Metrics That Matter

We are continuously optimizing the metrics that help projects achieve success with Fuel to in turn help developers access a large market of issues to work on

Popularity

Overall interest of an issue via metrics such as submissions, views, clicks

Submissions

Measures the number of merge pull requests submitted

Time to merge

The time between the creation of an issue and the time it’s merged

Funded time to merge

The time between the very first funding on Fuel of an issue and when it’s merged

Revisions

Number of revisions required before an issue is successfully merged

Issues Completed

Volume of issues merged for a project and increases since the use of Fuel

Roadmap

We have some big dreams for Fuel, but important to us is also keeping the needs of our community top of mind during our growth journey thus the projected roadmap may change over time

Step 0: Private Alpha, Small Test Network
Launch of Fuel to a private group of family and friends to stress test the platform, iron out bugs, and prepare for launch
Step 1: Public Beta
Finalize agreements and partnerships or upgrade paid plans with Fireblocks, WalletConnect, CoinMarketCap, Fleek, Webflow and more. Launch Fuel to the public with built it monitors for features used, activity logging, and preparing for optimizations
Step 2: Initial Marketing, Finding Super Users
List all the community groups for every open source Web3 project, reach out to the moderators, the communities, and the developers to get feedback on benefits they would like to see, and if they’re open to testing the platform

“We were essentially the Instagram police and called out fake influencers left, right and centre. It was fun and all, but there is only so many bikini chicks you can look at on Instagram before you start losing your mind.”

Dan, Co-founder and CEO of Lumio

Step 3: Tokenomics, Finalized and Audited
Revise Tokenomics plan by industry experts Findas.org, and work on economy simulations for the token. Finalize third party audits of the tokenomics for scale potential, community benefits, security and compliance

“After this, we both took up golf on during the week and started eating fancy dinners at the local Country Club... Ha. This is not what happened at all. We suck at golf and love eating Guzman Y Gomez.”

Adam, Co-founder of Lumio

Step 4: Launch DAO, Enter Web3
Release Fuel token, rewarded to funders and contributors and providing governance rights for the future of Fuel. Initial launch of Fuel will involve funding thousands of GitHub issues with Fuel. If you don’t use Fuel, you’re leaving money on the table
Step 5: Liquidity Pools, Automated Functions
Fuel liquidity pools will be automatically funded via the fees collected on platforms from all the various tokens supported, anything Vaulted to date will be used to fund many liquidity markets
Step 6: Gamify, Master Your Craft
Build algorithm for ranking users, allowing Web3 projects to display their rewards to more advanced users, and automate submissions reviews by advanced tiers. Offer dedicated or shared reviewers packages for enterprise users
Step 7: Analytics, Track Your Project
🚀 relume launches
Great for project owners, product managers and investors: advanced insights into projects, deeper metrics into submission times, merge request times, visibility on platform, and benchmark against other projects
Step 8: Decentralize, Full Autonomy
Analyze all aspects of the platform and business, and ensure every aspect of the platform and infrastructure continues to support an open and community based future

“Relume was an opportunity for us to build a profitable business, not a startup that bleeds cash, whilst doing what we love to do. It also allows us to learn about all types of businesses and the problems they deal with. These are all opportunities that we could potentially solve for in the future. For now, our goal is simple, we want to build a kickass business which means we really want our customers and the Webflow community to succeed too.”

Dan, Co-founder of Relume

Step 9: Compete, Launch Startup Grant
Launch an idea board for founders to pitch their ideas and get the support of the community via Fuel tokens to kickstart their projects. Projects can partner with interested engineers to help them structure their projects and launch on Fuel

 Step 10: Partnerships
We would like to focus here on forming solid partnerships with like minded businesses that support a remote working future, with strong community support, and freedom to work on projects that matter to you, and benefit from their success
